CEDHA has 32 staff; 12 academic and 20 support
staff. Support staff include an Administrator, Accountants,
a Librarian, Secretaries, Supplies officer, and others.
Academic and senior support staff are described briefly
hereunder.

Dr.Melkiory C. Masatu; MD, MSc (University of Dar es Salaam),
PhD (University of Bergen, Norway)
Dr. Masatu is an academic staff. He has a PhD in Epidemiology. For the
past ten years he has been a co-investigator in the
on-going health systems and health promotion researches in
relation to reproductive health in collaboration with
researchers from
Muhimbili University college of Health and Allied Sciences, Kilimanjaro
Christian Medical College, the Centre for International
Health, University of Bergen, and the Institute for
Nutrition research, University of Oslo, Norway. He also serves as a
visiting lecturer and external examiner for undergraduate
and postgraduate programmes at Kilimanjaro Christian Medical
College, Tumaini University, Tanzania. |
Mr.Daniel Muhochi; Advanced Diploma in Health
Administration(Mzumbe University),
MA (University of Leeds)
Mr. Muhochi is the Health secretary and Head of
Administration Department. He has a Master Degree in Health
Management, Planning and Policy. He participates in training
District Council Health Management Teams. Also he
participates on Research (Management areas like policy
process involvement of stakeholders). He is guest lecturer
to The Tumaini University (Regional Dermatology Training
Centre-(RDTC). |

Dr.Ramadhan S. Mwampambe; MSc Medical Education (University
of Dundee-college of Medicine-Dundee Scotland-UK)
Dr. Mwampambe is an academic staff. He has a master degree in Medical
Education. His experience is over 20 years of training
health workers in the country, mainly clinicians and others
related cadres like Teachers of health workers, District
Health Managers and Health program coordinators. His special
areas of training include Curriculum design, Instructional
methods, Teaching and learning approaches, Health systems
and Educational research |

Dr. Jincen is an academic staff. She has a master degree in
Public health. Also, she coordinates the programme entitled
- Health Status of Tanzania families improved supported by
USAID. Special areas for training include
research methodology, management of STDs, district health
planning, district health management and management of
essential drugs. |
Mr.
Wilson M.S. Lendita; Dipl.Lib. (Makerere University),
MSc Information Studies (University of
Leeds) ,
Mr. Lendita is a Senior Librarian at CEDHA with
experience in the establishment
and
development of
zonal and district resource centres in Tanzania. He has been
coordinating the development of resource centres at zonal,
district level and in training institutions of the Ministry
of Health and Social Welfare. |
Dr.Ben
Mboya; MSc Medical Education (University of Wales College of
Medicine (UWCM))
Dr. Mboya is an academic staff. He has a master degree in medical
education. He has 10 years experience of training teachers
of health workers. His special areas for training include
teaching and learning, STD management, health systems
research, district health planning, and district health
management. He has served as a consultant to the Dutch
Embassy in Tanzania for training Mbulu and Karatu district
health management teams. |
Mr.James Mwesiga; MA (University of Leeds)
Mr. Mwesiga is an academic staff. He has a master
degree in health management and planning. He has been
teaching health management for the past 15 years. Also, he
serves as part-time course director and resource person to
the Health Management programme at the East and Southern
African Management Institute (ESAMI).

Mrs.Fatma S. Ndeki; MSc (University of Manchester)
Mrs. Ndeki is an academic staff. She has a master degree in
primary health care education. She has been training health
care providers, religious leaders, and community health
workers in various community based programmes in Arusha
region. She serves as part-time teacher at Vector Control
School, Tanga; and at the Regional Dermatology Training
Centre, Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Centre. Her areas of
expertise include teaching and learning, and Distance
Education. |
