CEDHA
has a fully equipped print shop and trained personnel in the
production of teaching, learning and promotional materials
in health.
Over the years, a variety of health learning materials have
been produced comprising of manuals, books and
booklets, calendars, brochures, library cards, hospital forms,
letterheads
and certificates. With the support of the Health link world
wide of the UK in collaboration with Department for
International Development (DFID), the print shop has produced
a number of manuals including the following:
Management of Selected Medical Emergencies,
The use of Partogram in Management of Labour,
Management of Health Services: A manual for Primary
Health Workers
First Aid (in Kiswahili)
Talking AIDs (in Kiswahili)
To ensure sustainability of running the print shop, CEDHA has
expanded its capacity to undertake printing work from
interested partners such as government
departments, schools, NGOs and public corporations at very
competitive costs.
